DAHJ is excited to announce two additions to our advisory board!
Tara McPherson
is Chair and Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts and Director of the Sidney Harman Academy for Polymathic Studies. Her interests overlap the fields of digital humanities, media history, and critical theories of race and gender. She has a longstanding commitment to experimental digital research outputs: she was the Founding Editor of Vectors, a multimedia peer-reviewed journal; she also serves as Primary Investigator for Scalar, a multimedia authoring platform developed by the Alliance for Networking Visual Culture.
Nuria Rodríguez Ortega
is Chair and Professor in the Art History Department at the University of Málaga and Director of the research group i-ArtHis Lab. She has published extensively on the role of metadata and digital cataloguing in structuring art-historical knowledge, and is currently conducting two related projects: ArtCatalog and Exhibitum. She is founder and director of the Digital Art History Summer School at the University of Málaga.
We are honoured that they contribute to the Journal with their expertise and commitment. The DAHJ advisory board plays a vital role in sustaining the quality, rigorous standards, and vision at large for this platform.
